you can replace your handset with a new one. There are many companies who can provide you handset. but you have to choose a correct company for yourself.

That exact SIM, or any SIM from that network? The T-Mobile SIM that came
with my last new phone is still in its packaging, because I transferred
the T-Mobile SIM from the old phone to the new one.

The sim registed by the dealer to go with that phone.
Some dealers make a test call before you leave the shop
to make sure it's sim is registered to the network

At the weekend I got myself a new Huawei Ascend G300, from Tesco, and
their current Clubcard promotion doubling up on clubcard vouchers turned
the phone from being a bargain into an absolute steal. Even factoring in
the cost of unlocking it (using a code) so I can use it on giffgaff, the
total bill came in at under £60.

No signal.
