Can a SIM card problem cause a battery life problem?
Basically story goes as thus.
Had O2 SIM card in Moto V360 - battery life about 3 days
Went on holiday in Sept and wanted to take a cheapo phone with mt (another
story) so O2 SIM lived in a Moto C139 for two weeks
Came back - put SIM in V360 and battery life now less than 24 hours. OK
maybe battery is getting old.
Anyway recently got a Moto V3i on a O2 1000 mins off peak deal but wanted to
use V3i with main O2 SIM
so O2 1000 mins SIM into V360 and old O2 SIM into V3i. Now V360 last 3 days
and new V3i last about 18 hours.
Now missus has also O2 SIM in std V3 and get 3 days plus
So last few days tried O2 1000 mins SIM in V3i and my O2 SIM in V360.
Battery life follows SIM cards i.e. V3i 3 days V360 18 hours
So is it possible that a SIM problem can cause this? I cannot see why. I
know that O2 is not great where I live but the variation in battery life is
a pain especially when the Motos start beeping at 3am to let me know the
battery is low :-(...... anyone got any ideas?
