Default Cannot receive email through vpn and when connected to vodafone 3g

Hi

My new HP 2510p laptop has built in 3G broadband access via HSDPA
Broadband Wireless Network Adaptor.

It connects to the internet OK and to the office through our sonicwall
global vpn client.

I can send email using outlook and our office exchange server but I do
not seem to be able to receive any email.

Has anyone got any idea what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance

Mac

Can you ping the Exchange server by name or IP address when connected by
VPN?

Does mail work OK when your laptop is using the VPN client on a regular
but remote internet connection?
