Our daughter has a KG970 'Shine?' and yesterday we bought a car
charger for it, or one we were assured was compatible with her KE970
although on the packet is says for KG800?
We plugged it in briefly but saw no signs of charging on the phone
(the red LED was on on the charger) so removed it and haven't tried it
again till we get confirmation that it is indeed compatible (it still
charges from the mains charger so the phone seems ok).
So, is this a compatible charger or should I take it back (it was a
high street shop) and request something else please (ie, what models
would actually be compatible assuming this one isn't).

p.s. I would normally have bough such things off the net but she'd
left her mains charger at the boyfriends and it was as if she would
die if the phone went flat! ;-)
