Default Catch 22!

I bought an excellent phone from Nokia which didn't come with a SIM
card. Bought a card online from T-Mobile for 50p. So far so good.
Signed up with T-Mobile with the intention of topping up but they
won't let me!

"Your Billing Account has been suspended. You have no recent
activity."

Emailed T-Mobile and am still waiting after 48 hours.

Can you recommend another, better company which supports the Nokia E61
please?

Doug.

There is obviously some issue with your SIM. Have you registered it (if
this is required)?

If they are only 50p get another one.

Orange SIMs are free from any Orange shop if you're passing one.

I've registered the SIM and signed on with T-Mobile but am effectively
locked out. After more than 48 hours wityh no response I have sent a
second email to them. Could it be that this is an abortive security
measure against stolen phones? If so it has badly misfired because
they are turning potential customers away who buy phones legitimately.

Doug.

It's most likely a re-cycled number.
