I missed the first few minutes of the programme. During that time,
did they mention anything about the biggest mobile rip off of all:
reverse charge text messages?

The cashback section of the programme was revealing: for example the
interview with a woman who's lost out on over GBP900 of cashbacks
because the shop where she got her mobiles went bust. Apparently, she
was signing contracts for members of her family.

Didn't see all of it but I don't think they covered reverse charge
txts. Maybe they'll save that for another show.

The woman who'd lost £900 was (I think) a university lecturer but
plainly had no idea of the risk she was taking.

I thought the worst thing they found was the Eurpoean roaming charges.
It sounds like the UK gov't acted as spokesperson for the mobile
industry. The EU wanted much lower charges but the UK argued for
higher ones.
