Default Cheapest PAYG Blackberry service?

My O2 blackberry contract ends soon and I'd much like to transfer the
phone to PAYG hopefully with an unlimited data BIS plan somehow.

Any Ideas?

OK following up me own yet again for the Google record (and any
enquiring minds?), I've just agreed with O2 a Simplicity monthly rolling
deal 600mins/1200txts + blackberry unlimited BIS for £20/month. My
previous on-contract was nearer £35/month for 200mins/400txts for an
8120 Pearl.

Had to do it on the blower, the O2 website in the customer upgrades
section does not offer the BIS bolt-on as a possible Simplicity tarrif,
even though ye can arrive at that selection right at the front of their
website by some messing about accepting another bolt-on then changing it.

Admitedly it's not PAYG but the short 30day contract was the clincher.
Someone will no doubt be along soon to say it's all a fiver on PAYG
elsewhere :-|

Currently only Orange offers BIS on a PAYG basis, that rather limits
your options but drastically reduces research time :-)

I think you have done well Adrian. As orange is the only alternative on
PAYG and there pants to be honest.

o2 on the other hand for £20 and what your getting is very much worth it
IMO.

The pearl was a fairly decent phone, I think you'd be impressed
(poosibly) with a blackberry bold or even a curve ? maybe worth a look
for a new toy.

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobil...ry-pearl-8110/

T-Mobile are offering a new PAYG pearl for £146.80 with 12-months
unlimited BIS thrown in.

I'm only going to have this going 20/month for a few months while
checking other options for toys.

Heart is saying iPhone, Brain is saying no.

OOOOO the iPhone is a loevely phone but its just feels so well everyone
has one like an ipod. Seems well specd and is a fun gizmo as well as
phone.

I have no particular love of any brand but blackberry seem to tick all
my boxes and I find I have a weak spot for them.

Those HTC magic phones (I think thats what they are called) seem a nice
spec'd phone.

I'm hoping to get a blackberry curve on PAYG somehow and get the BIS at
£4.99 or that o2 offer sounds good.

I am currently getting virgin liberty I think its called with 300 mins
and 300 texts for £10 a month which is great, I never use with of them
all up. I've sent an email to virgin to see if they will support me
using a blackberry and the bis setup which will then only cost me £14.99
with BIS and 300 mins and 300 texts.

Anyway thats my master plan for mobile domination

As you've already found out, Orange BIS PAYG £5/month. My daughter has this
with a £10 topup and gets 300 texts + BIS + whatever the remaining £5 gives
you in minutes. She's happy with this.

Jumping on the bandwagon here. I called virgin and spoke to a very well
informed chap about a blackberry bold that I'm contemplating purschasing and
running it on virgin. Basically he says if its unlocked I can just slip my
sim in, contact them for the internet settings, and then contact blackberry
UK and sign up for BIS £4.99. So I could use the liberty sim deal for
200mins 200 texts for £10 pay £5 for BIS and a total of £15 a month for a
nice setup ?

Food for thought perhaps fella ?
