Coolnewmobile - cashback con - AVOID !!!

Dont go near them... You'll never get the cashback promised...

They send me a letter telling me I hadnt sent all the documents so my
claim was refused. They sent it one day after the 60 day deadline has
passed so, basically, its too late to re-send.

Besides which, I DID send all the documents. Very convenient that
they've now lost one of them. Funny thing is also that they sent me an
email last week telling me that all was in order and that a cheque was
about to be sent.

I think its a con...

Did you just post this in uk.legal as well ? - if not, someone else
has just reported the exact same problem there, and has been referred
to moneyclaimonline

Report them to trading standards and file a moneyclaimonlime. Might be worth
writing to them explaining what you intend doing and giving them a deadline
unless they honor the cashback claim. A similar letter threatening trading
standards and the courts worked wonders with onestopphoneshop a few years
ago.

I take it you mean " threatening to involve Trading Standards and the
Courts" and not " Threatening Trading Standards and the Courts" :-)
