Default Data/Email costs for Blackberry on O2 or tmobile

I am looking at a Blackberry 8100 on t-mobile or O2.

On another handset, web n walk is an extra 7.50 per month, however T-mobile
advise that I need "instant email" for the Blackberry to enable webnwalk at
an extra £10.00 a month (but offer a discount of £2.50). Therefore
web/email for the blackberry is an extra £15.00 per month. i.e a Blackberry
is £7.50 per month more expensive that any other handset.

I have looked at the handset on O2 - but cannot work out if I need a
"blackberry tariff" - i dont need "instant email", just poll the server
every 30mins or so.

I have emailed o2, but havent get got a reply? what are the data costs for
the blackberry? Do they offer a package similar to webnwalk?

A Blackberry will poll the BB server continuously, if you don't have the
BB tariff your data costs for the month will be enormous.

If you don't need instant email, just get any email enabled handset and
program it to check every 30 mins.
