Default Daughter wants a new contract!

Daughter1 has just finished uni and is getting to the end of her three
contract.

She wants 250 minutes and 800 texts and a new SonyEric s500i or s850i

Anyone know the best deal she can get?

If she's just finishing university that would put her, what, 22? 23?

Surely by now she can purchase a mobile phone on her own?

Not wanting a top phone included would make the choices easier.

Has she any preference of network?

Yep, always has done.

She is also 'streetwise' enough to ask her 'computer obsessed' dad for
advice, which brings us here ....

You move ;-)

Hey, I'm only the messenger! :-)

In a word, no!

Me & Mum & Sister are on Orange, so it would be cheaper (?) for us if she
was with O.

She *was* with O but they couldn't offer her a decent deal, so she migrated
to Three, but they don't offer the contract she's on now, which was IIRC 200
mins & 500 txts for £17.50

Virgin do an £18 tariff 200 mins 500 texts which is similar to what she had
but I'm not sure about her choice of phone.
If she is willing to keep her own phone o2 are doing 600 mins unlimited
texts for £20 August only on a monthly rolling contract which she could do
for a few months until she finds a handset / package she likes.

Hmm, her old one is knackered really, but that's maybe an option.

Nobody else got any bright ideas?

She's now looking at an LG Secret on Orange. 200 mins and 'unlimited' texts
for 20 quid.

Is that a good deal???
