Debanding by changing product code, then using Nokia software updater

from looking at this website it appears to be relatively easy to change your
product code to trick nokia software updater into downloading the unbranded
firmware.

would this work with my nokia 6233? if so does anyone have the product code
for unbranded silver english 6233? as I have the Vodafone version.

0535981

I've no idea what CTV stands for though.
