Delivery Reports on 3

Never had this problem before, is it the phone Nokia 6280 or the 3
network ?

Say i send a text to someone at 11pm at night and there phone is off,
it shows as pending on my phone which is fine, they switch there phone
on at 7am and it gets delivered, my phone briefly flashes up thats its
been delivered (you got to be looking at your phone to notice it) and
the status of the delivery report changes to delivered but says 11pm
and not the 7am it was actually deliverd, so you never actually know
when it was delivered.

Any ideas ?

i think all nokia's do it. many times ive looked to see when a message has
been delivered and it says the time sent! (on vodafone)

Never had it before on o2 with other Nokia phones (older models)
