Default E2save 'lost' cashback cheques

My automatic cashback from E2save has been lost in the post (I am
assuming they actually sent it). I called after 30 days to request
another cheque and they say a replacement will be sent in 80-90 days.
Is this normal?.

I have never had any probs with normal cashbacks (where you send the
phone bill). They paid the last cashback within 2 weeks.

It's bull, get on to them to complain and kick up a (polite) fuss!

I had a similar problem and they said the quoted time was for 60-90
days, however I could phone back in a month to see how the investigation
into the messing cheque was progressing. Less than a month later (today
in fact) I received the reprinted cheque

I guess it's about not falsely raising your hopes, which is fair enough.

I will call them back in a couple of weeks. I can't understand why it
takes 80-90 days to trace and re-issue a cheque.

Same problem here with e2save auto cashback. There's nothing "auto"
about this mechanism at all. August 2006 cheque (70) not received
yet - 3 phone calls so far. There was a cheque run on the 15th Sep -
advised to wait another week as cancelling the current cheque would
result in a 50 or 60 day delay. I think they're just picking random
numbers.

But I'll keep chasing the buggers. I think Dunstone is trying to save
money they've been throwing (or losing) through Talk-Talk.

Well, they get to keep the interest on that amount for another 1/4 of a
year, and what's more, they'll probably hope you forget about it, and
they'll only issue it if you chase them again. Typical cashback process.
