Default Editing T9 dictionary on a Samsung

Recently I had to perform a reset on my Samsung Steel. After the reset,
every time I try and write the word "to" using predictive text, it insists
on giving me "86" as the first option.

It's not hard to change of course but it's irritating and it never used to
do this. I would have thought a reset (using *2767*3855#) would have set
everything back to factory conditions.

Is there any way of deleting unwanted entries from the dictionary?

Tim

No, T9 is not editable.

I presume though that any additions to the dictionary are in the phone's
memory somewhere. What I don't understand is where the "86" came from when
it never used to do this.

Jet. Same again. Some ridiculous suggestions, but still getting used to it.

Worst has to be "Gaga" which I've used once, over Haha, which I use often
and "od" which I never recall using over "me".

My old SE w810i remembered what I used more often and had the ability, when
I found it, to remove words I don't use!

No, just don't use it - it's faster to type a word than constantly have
to change and/or delete it.
