Default Help

I've just attempted to top-up my son's mobile number via O2's website.
Unfortunately, it turns out I got one of the digits wrong so some other
lucky person has received a free donation from me.

Is there any way I can recoup this money?

For anyone else that might make the same mistake... how did you sort it?

Ringing up the service provider seems like the REALLY REALLY obvious
solution.

Yea, but maybe he found a way that was less obvious that worked better...
Maybe after being on hold they gave him another number...

If all he did was ring CS than fair enough, he needn't bother explaining how
to do that...

The "take money from someone elses account" option must be well hidden
on their website...

Gosh, what an exciting prospect. I'm thinking of trading in my
contract phone just so I can incorrectly put money on my account and
think of ways other than calling the service provider to help sort it.

Actually, don't bother explaining, I'm bored with this now...

The most sensible option with anything account related would be to
phone the service provider. Also, I fail to see how doing anything
else is likely to help.
