Dummies came in today, very nice sliding action, and the upward tilt
feels perfect even on the dummy model! Dribble dribble!

Ok so we all want one!! ...... .....Is there anything any
better that we've perhaps overlooked? For my part I want a phone,
word, excel, outlook, camera, ability to run TomTom and ideally play
music. I'd like to be able to take notes in meetings. Any thoughts???

Battery life isn't great - it's less than I got on my Vario/Wizard - but
as it's HSDPA that's expected.

Got mine (Vario III on T-Mobile) for £80 on a 18 month upgrade. Monthly
spend (after 50% discount) was £16.25 per month and kept same tariff +
discount. Approx 300 mins per month + unlimited (1G anytime data per
month and HSDPA downloads. It's so fast, I don't bother with WiFi any
more, saving the battery a bit. Internal GPS works perfectly with my
old copy of TomTom Navigator 5 (just remember COM4 + 57600bps, and DON'T
touch the GPS applet in control panel else GPS may not work without a
full hard reset.

Only negative is very poor screen in bright sunlight - even on max
brightness it seems worse than my old Vario/Wizard.

But I'm pleased with it, especially with it only costing me £370 for 18
months inc line rental etc.
