I'm using a Nokia N80 on Orange PAYG.
It currently diverts after 10 seconds of ringing to my answerphone.
Although the N80 gives me options to increase this to 30 seconds(under call
divert), if I try to do this - it errors saying it can't do it.
Spoke to Orange CS - the rep in India told me this wasn't something Orange
could do, I'd need to approach the manufacturer. She helpfully told me that
she could cancel my voicemail if I wanted.
Spoke to Orange CS - the rep in the UK told me there was nothing I could do.
He gave me a code to input - something like *61**[and some numbers I can't
recall now], but then said that this wasn't supported on PAYG. He was
right - it doesn't work.
I found a few threads from this NG going back to 2004 which seemed to
indicate that I'd need to ask Orange to cancel the divert, but not the
voicemail and then use the code?
This still the case?
