Default iPhone on T-Mobile

I buy a Nokia N73 (*1) on the Flext 25 + web'n'walk deal and it'll cost
£27.50 per month.

Now I take the SIM out of it and fit to a jailbroken iPhone. Wife gets
all the benefits of the T-Mobile deal.

I fit a PAYG SIM into the Nokia N73 and I have a nice new shiny
phone too.

That's probably a crappy idea but it sounds OK to me, or am I missing
something obvious here?

(*1) Or any other free phone.

The cost of the iPhone in the first place?

Gareth.

It's okay. Remember that the iPhone does GPRS and EDGE. T-Mobile
does *not* do EDGE meaning the phone can only really use GPRS which
will give you 92kb/sec (according to speed tests I've done online) to
play with which isn't all that fantastic.

However, the phone does roam onto WiFi networks which it's familiar
with.
