I've got: 600 minutes + 500 text + 12 month contract + no dodgy
cashback: on O2 for £10 a month.

I was due for an upgrade.
I wasn't bothered about a phone.
(I wanted an N95... but it was tooo expensive to get on a 12 month
contract.)
(I'm getting a sealed N95 from eBay for less than £250. Probably
don't have the satisfaction of a proper 12 month guarantee... but I'm
not bothered and would ratert ake the risk.)

Important: no dodgy cashback scheme where you have to send in slips of
paper.

This is from Carphonewarehouse.

Sounds like a pretty good deal!

Thought I'd share with others. : )

well... u see... i'm a *big* spender and spend £900 on calls a
month...
erm... no... not really. : )
this is just a standard deal.
the sales person i spoke to was a bit of a monkey.
i had to talk to them to get this deal out.
it wasn't so much that it was an extra special deal only offered by
getting a managers approval or anything...
but i did have to go through to the 'cut off team' (not sure what
their called... but basically... u call and say u want to
disconnect... first moneky will waste 5 min of ur time trying to talk
u out of it... but then will put u through to 2nd monkey... 2nd monkey
holds the magic key.)

hope that helps.

well hopefully u will now learn ur lesson of not going with the 3
network.
don't do it again. just take it as a loss.
(even if u got ur deal with one of the other networks: i'm *pretty*
sure u dont get 3000 cross network calls... only to landlines. with
02... all of their packages are cross network.)

thought was good............and its on a 30 day contract. like you I did not
want a handset.

O2's businessshop site appears to be very broken and their contracts
don't seem to be nearly as good as 3 though. (Can get an E65 on a
£20/month tarriff).

Good work, although O2 wouldn't give you that directly anymore - all they
will do is put you on sim-only if you don't want a handset

Yup - that's the sort of price you should be paying for a contract
without a "free" phone. Demonstrates how much a "free" phone really
costs - most networks charge around £40 a month on an 18 month
contract for similar amounts of minutes/texts, so the "free" phone
really costs about £540!!
