Default K700i wont work after flash

Tried to upgrade my K700i last week, but now when I switch it on, the screen
just flashes a white screen on and off? Is it bin fodder?
Thanks

I meant to say I did this upgrade with SEUS (Sony Ericssons own web upgrade
service) using my DSS25 USB base.

Is it bin fodder?
Thanks
Steve

Try and reflash it with SEUS. I have heard people having similar
problems and trying again.
Just my 2p worth so hope it might help!

I can't, it wont access the phone anymore.
The phone just flashes a white screen 'on and off' and thats all it will do.
It doesn't even respond to SEUS anymore.
Thanks though.

Any other ideas anyone?

If you have done a legitimate firmware upgrade via SE then I would just get
in contact with them direct and explain the problem.

I had to contact them a while back because of a problem I had with my w800i.
I was amazed when they emailed me back 2 hours later and then phoned me the
next day to see if I had sorted my problem.

What did you flash it with? The fact that you have white screen means
there's still life in it. Try and flash it again.

Sounds as if the firmware is now incomplete/corrupted.

If it's under warranty, let a service engineer re-flash it for you - the
easiest way.

Contact SE as a first port of call, and explain.

You can press other certain key combinations whilst powering the phone 'on',
and that way kick-start some other process and it may work, or work enough
to reflash.

If you can't be bothered with contacting SE (I'd contact them in your
circumstance), then try davinciteam.com - although others exist, I've only
ever used that. Seems good for reviving dead phones, check the forums out
first though.
