Default k800i bluetooth disconnect

Hi there,

Recently got a new car with bluetooth and have paired my k800i with it, as
well as the other half's samsung e720. When hers is used, it (the bluetooth
connection) connects and disconnects automatically with no troubles, however
on the k800i.. once I move away from the car.. the headset icon on the
'phone stays there. If I later make a call, I cannot hear anything and
nobody can hear me... whilst in a call, I can go to the 'transfer call'
menu, which gives 2 options, 'phone and headset.. the 'phone option is
grayed out (I assume 'in use') and the headset option gives an error when
trying to connect (rightly so, I'm out of the bluetooth area).

The only way I can seem to get rid of the headset icon/mode... is by turning
the 'phone off and on again!

Any clues to make this automatic - or even an option without turning the
'phone off??

cheers,
Chris

My K800i automatically registers and de-registers OK with my Honda, very
infrequently (i.e. twice I can remember) it does fail to register so an
incoming call rings on the phone, not via the car.

Ta for the reply.. I'm guessing it's my 'phone being a bit old and battered,
but then you never know! As I say my wife's 'phone works perfectly.

Well there's one excuse for an upgrade

cheers,
Chris
