Default K800i questions

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the full manual does not have any
details of the icons on the top of the screen.

I now have what looks like Saturn ring - like a planet in the top left
corner and blue and white rings coming from it.

1. What is it?
2. Anyone have a link do a document that shows all the icons?
3. What is the maximum number of contacts that the k800i will store?

Thanks

Its the icon that means you have 3G connectivity.
If you don't have the icon showing next to the signal bars, it means
you're not in a 3G area.

3G symbol, says you are in range of the 3G network.

Don't think there is a maximum as such, It has 60ish Mb internal memory
so you would have to store several thousand contacts to even touch the
sides of that.

Memory card is not used for storing contacts.

Agreed, but there is the facility to back-up the contacts to the memory
card which I don't think earlier models had.

Thanks - just what I wanted. I downloaded the official manual for the
K800i and while it was similar to the one you show it did not have the
icon list.

I think the list is not complete. For example I had an icon showing
when I got the phone, that turned out to be some sort of selective
divert - a handset with a bouncing arrow above it. That is not listed.

I would like to give it a try with about 5000 contacts. What is the
best way to get them into the phone? I have them as a csv file or can
load them into Outlook.

I would prefer not to use the SE software that cam with the phone if
possible.

I have tried the fma Outlook sync option but that seems to just copy the
phone contacts into Outlook but not the other way.

Load them into outlook and sync up.

WHy not? It works very well. If you must go third party then floats
mobile agent.

You have to sync outlook <> FMA then FMA <> phone.
