I have a new Orange K810i. When I check status of a sent SMS all I get is
"message sent" status in words. Is there a way to get a message delivery
confirmation as I would get on T610i and other older phones?
Thanks

Have you turned delivery reports on?
(on my W610i :- Menu -> Messaging -> Settings -> Text Message -> Delivery
Report -> On).
Once I'd set that, I got a 'Pop-Up' when the message arrives, and the
message -> 'View Status' changes from 'Message Sent' to 'Message Delivered'
and a time/date once the message has reached its destination...
Before, I just got the 'Message Sent' destination that you mention.

You are absolutely right. I just could not find where to set it.
It is the same as on your W610i. It was set to off.
Thanks

Is that true for any contract? I used T610i before getting K810i and did
not notice this on the bill. I am on Virgin OVP contract.

Turn on delivery reports, then when you go into sent items the message
has a green tick if it has been delivered.
