Default K810i or N95

Hi

I am thinking of upgrading my current mobile to either a SE k810i or a Nokia
N95.

The most important factor is being able to take good photos esp when out at
night.

Anyone got any views/opinions/experiences on either of these 2?

Thanks
Puddy

Based on that criteria you would think that the N95 with it's 5
megapixel camera would be the better choice.

Mobile phone cameras don't have decent flash,
you could get a very good camera for the price (you will eventually pay) of
N95 !

The K810i has a Xenon flash compared to the N95's LED flash so the Sony
would probably take better picture at night even though it's of lower
resolution.

In my experience, no phone, no matter how great, can replace low end digital
cameras. (£80)

I agree but ...

I always have my (2Mp K750i) phone with me, and it's always (well,
usually) charged and the USB lead is permanently plugged into my
computer. My old, 2Mp Nikon takes much better photos, has an inbuilt
proper flash and has an optical zoom but I rarely carry it, I've no idea
whether its AA batteries are charged and I've mislaid the memory card
reader :-(

Yes, phones are better than cameras but if you want a contract (I did at
the time) then the phone you get will have a camera and you might as
well get the best you can.

I just bought a K810i, and when I take a picture of something in the
dark, it's really hard to even see on the photo that the sun wasn't
shining. Unless of course the object is more than 7-8 meters away. But
that's the same for all cameras.

I also have a Sony Digital Camera, 7.2 MP. But If I don't zoom in on
the pictures when viewing them on the computer, I can't tell the
difference.
