Lol, phoned Virgin CS and asked if landline SMS was broken and was told that
it isn't possible to send a SMS to a landline. Well, that's kind of true -
it currently seems to be broken with Virgin and with T-Mobile.
I was still charged 10p by Virgin for the nugget of wisdom provided by the
tubbie - just for sport I even phoned back to complain and I was charged
another 10p!

The staff at Virgin are useless, they are still telling people that if they
have no Virgin signal they can still dial 999 as they home roam for
emergency calls.
