Using a Nokia N70 as a modem for my laptop on web n walk and certain
websites cause my connection to drop out, on the network status
monitors in my sytem tray, (ie the two little green traffic monitors)
the one showing sent data just sits there flashing and the recieved
data does not respond, the only way to sort it out is to restart the
mobile and dial up again.
One of the worst offending sites is betfair, also peer to peer
utorrents have the same effect, somtimes it will be ok for hours then
4 or 5 faults on the trot, have contacted T Mobile they inform me this
should not be happening, there are no issues with bandwith allowance.
Signal strength is excellent im connecting at 3g speed, anyone have an
idea as to the possible cause.

There's different versions of Web'n'Walk - plain Web'n'Walk, Web'n'Walk
Plus and Web'n'Walk Max with various restrictions on each (such as not
using as modem for a PC, usage limits, VoIP, instant messenger, Peer 2
Peer).
The restrictions are here: <http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/uk/fairuse/>
For Web'n'Walk Plus the only restriction is no VoIP and 3GB per month
fair usage. It seems the usage you describe is within those terms, so
should not be related to that - I asked which version you had in case
you had the basic Web'n'Walk (as implied in your original post) as the
problems you were experiencing may have possibly been related to the
restrictions.
Could you try it with a different device to eliminate the N95 from the
equation?
