I need to port a number off Orange PAYG onto T-Mobilke contract - (the
contract is already in place) on, or just before Marh 9. I would
prefer the xfer to happen on or before the date, but not after.
Can anyone please tell me the best way to do this and/or any pitfalls
I may encounter and what not to do

Ring Orange on Monday and request your PAC code. It will be valid for
30 days.
Ring T-Mobile and give them your PAC code seven days before you wish
to port eg ring T-Mobile on March 1st and they should arrange for your
number to be ported in on March 8th.

Obtain PAC Code from Orange. Give PAC to T-Mobile on March 4th. Job
done.
