Default Make Free International Calls if you are with 3 Orange & O2. Use your Free Minutes !

Make Free International Calls by using your free any network minutes
with 3 (Three) Orange and O2. You can make Free International calls to
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, France,
Poland, Turkey, Netherland, Italy, Australia, Panama, USA, Canada and
many other countries. Just do the step below.

Creat a new text message with the following text:

Noodle Stars

and send it to the following number:

81025

You will receive couple of text messages in few seconds one with a
mobile number exclusive to you. Just dial that number and you will hear
tone like landline tone. When you hear that tone just enter the full
International number you want to dial. Please remember that this number
will only work with the phone you sent text from. If you want to make
Free International calls from another phone you have to send the same
text from that phone as well and you will get different number for
that.

Please note that some destinations only available Mon-Fri.

I find out this about 2 weeks ago and was waiting for my bill from
orange which I received today and they did not charged me for using
this.

Hmm, I know an easier way to do this:

Manifone will give you 4 London numbers that you can assign to any
international number you want. So once you set up such a link, you can
just call that plain UK number and the international number rings. If
you have inclusive minutes on your mobile plan, you will only get
charged for the international part of the call by Manifone, which is
that of a typical voip provider...

It will probably take 5 minutes to open an account online, and set up
the phonebook with these 4 numbers and the phones you plan to call
from, so that their system recognizes you. I think it's a great
alternative who call a couple of friends / family abroad and don't
want to go through an access number every time, or wait for SMS
instructions or callback. It's really a one-time setup, then you just
dial as usually.

For details see http://www.manifone.com/index.php?lang=en it's the
mani-minutes product...

Cheers,
baxide

There are some services (can't quote of the top of my head) that do the same
but give out an 0844/0871 number. This is handy if your phone includes
these (few contract but some PAYG charge them the same as a landline) as the
0844 also funds the international call.

Don't suppose you know which 40 destinations Mani Minutes gives a free trial
to? It doesn't say on the website without signing up. They have good
prices for one destination that I'd like to check out. Do they charge if
the other end doesn't answer? How do the topups work - do you have to pay
EUR10 or similar at a time?

Is this whole thread for parasitic spammers who want to fill their
pockets at other user's expense?

As for the OP, what idiot would sign up using this affliliate keyword
reference, thus destroying their own privacy by giving the OP their
phone number?

And would the OP then use that number in other ways, like subscribing
it to other spam services?

Well, the free trial is actually 30 cents of credit you get once you
open an account. That corresponds to 10 minutes of calling to more
then 40 destinations. It may not be formulated correctly on the
website, but once I signed up, that's what I experienced. You could
call any destination, but your test credit may not last for 10 mins...

Now I just realized they offer free test calls on the opening page.
However, it allows only 1 call. Would be nice to find a workaround

To answer your questions Theo:
They don't charge unless the other end answers. However, if you call
using their portal or direct dials, your operator will charge you for
calling the UK landline they use as gateway. It's no premium or
tollfree number, it's plain landline, and therefore your operator
treats and bills it like that.

Topups you can add via paypal (credit card) once you sign up.

And yes, minumum topup is 10 euros, or I guess 7 pounds.
