Memory card corrupted

Nokia E61
Just got a 2gb memory card from phones 4 u and its intermittantly
saying this and all the songs on it become unavailable. Its even gone
off mid song. I have tried to access the root directory sometimes it
works sometime it says no data and sometimes it says memory corrupted.
However it seems to work in my usb memory card reader.
Has anyone got experience of taking back things to P4u as it's an
intermittent fault it's hard to demonstrate in the shop.

Have you formatted the Memory Card in the phone?

Its much cheaper.. I've used them a few times and no problems at all.

Took it back today fortunately it was wrong in the shop so they give
me my money back.

Thanks for the advice but i bought from carphone warehouse now all is
ok.
