Default "Message Sending Failed" !!!!!! HELP!

Hi all.

Real novice here.

My partner has insisted I have a mobile! Been resisting for years!

Anyway, everytime I have tried to send a message I can't an onscreen
message saying "Message Sending Failed".

Now maybe I am wrong, but I have done a bit of internet research and it
seems that this MAY be because the "message centre number" in my mobile
is not correct. I am with Tesco and the number in my mobile is
currently 4478020925. Is this the correct number?

Any clues, hints, advice, will be most welcome!

Thanks.

Eddy.

I found it listed as +447802092035 - the "plus" symbol is probably
required...

It needs to have a + at the start of it, I.e. +4478020925. It also sound
like its 2 digits short.

John and Richard, you're gems! Thanks! Yes, that "+" IS required. Oh,
the intricacies of this whole new world. I refuse to get caught up in
it ANY futher! :-)

Thanks a lot!

Eddy.

Thanks.

Eddy.
