messeage centre number

Anyone know how to change the text message centre number on a Razr V3 ?
Phone was locked to Orange but is now unlocked and I want to put a Voda sim
in it but will need to change the settings I think?

The number should be stored on the SIM, I think..?

Yes. The number is stored on the SIM.

SMS envelope button.
Middle button at the top of the keypad.
Select "Message Setup" menu option.
Select "Text Msg Setup" menu option.
Then change the "Service Centre No."

SMSC for Vodafone is +447785016005.

shouldnt need changing as the number is only stored on the sim card, so
updated each time a new sim is inserted
