Mobile Phone Cashbacks - We want your views on Replacement

I am a mobile phone dealer and there is a current call for the
ceasation or heavy regulation of mobile phone Cashback deals . This
has come about after several instances of mobile phone dealers going
into administration and therefore leaving customers with bills of
several hundred pounds.
The current feeling is that free gifts should be the way forward
instead.
I know that there have been several postings about these firms and
cashbacks and there is a feeling that something should be done now.
The dealer association the IMPDA has been asking dealers their views
on the subject. Their founder member Chris Caudle has been speaking
about the subject on You and Yours on Radio 4 after the programme
received several complaints and has now set up a poll on their site.
They have already canvassed dealers on the subject and are now looking
at getting you the customers views as well. The poll is on the site
www.impda.co.uk. We would urge everyone to make a vote and make their
voice heard.

How about cheaper phone calls ? We all know the networks load things to
subsidise hand sets but, not everyone goes for a new hand set every year.
