Default Mobileshop.Com Cashback Problem

I am still waiting on my final CB from mobileshop.com and I see they
are still using the "system failure =Backlog" excuse .They have been
doing this for months and months .
Has anyone had any recent dealings with them re CB payments . I was
told this morning that they would try and push mine up the queue .Of
course if I wanted an Argos voucher it could get done within a week so
why can't cash payments be done within a week ?

I recently received my final 2 payments within days of each other. This
was after a VERY long delay for the penultimate one.

Their stated reason is that they have to check that they have the
correct bank details to pay you the money and because they had technical
problems which resulted in the loss of this information, they are
checking all claims manually. I did think that they would never pay up
so I was most surprised to get the two payments in a week.

As Mobileshop emailed and offered the 110% Argos alternative for my
cashback from *last November*, I leapt at the opportunity! I had kind
of thought it had been completely lost and had given up hope of
getting anything.
