Default Motorola - low memory?

The motorolas all have 5mb of internal memory and no slots for additional.
Does this not have an affect on being able to take any photos etc?.
If so why are the MOTO's so popular?. I'm confused

Which model are you referring to. Many recent Motorola phones do have
expandable memory.

No. According to the manual (at least the one on Motorola's website),
you can get the camera to use the memory card. If you've got the
standard manual (ie not an operator rebranded one), its page 25.

Because you are wrong.

I was advised with my L7 it could accept a maximum of 512MB in the card
slot. So that's what I got. It doesn't store texts there but MP3s and
photos on it are fine.
