Motorola unlocking advice please

Hi group.

If I do a Google search regarding unlocking a V3x and a V3i I find a
million sites offering their serices.

Can anyone recommend a site please, as I have no idea about such things.

I don't know if it's still the case but at one time Motorola phones could
only be unlocked by people who had access to the on-line Motorola database.
It was also hit and miss if it was operational too.

I'm sure someone will correct me if times have changed :-)

Hard to recommend a site, I would trawl through a few to compare charges and
to see if they have legit contact details should anything go wrong. If it's
an Orange branded phone you could try calling to see if they could unlock
it, they will charge you around £25 for the pleasure.

Actually found a local shop that did it.
£25 the pair which I thought was very good value.
