Default My Cashbacks have all ended

Over the last 18 months or so I've had 5 seperate cashback deals running
from OSPS and Mobileshop and I just received the last of the cashback this
week.

I've noticed some threads on here about cashbacks and the horror stories
people have been having, but I must say I've had none.

Tips for cashabck success are (Well my success):-
1. Stick with one of the bigger companies, your www.phonesareallfree.co.uk
may give the best deal, but will they be here next month let alone next
year.
2. Keep all initial paperwork and all bills received together, I used those
A4 clear pockets.
3. Workout at the very start of the contract when the cashback dates are and
get them confirmed with Customer Services, also fill in the cashback slips,
produce the envolopes and put a stamp on them at the very start of the
contract, then all you have to do is photocopy that month's bill and post..
I also wrote them on a postit and put at the front of the A4 clear pocket.
4. Put the cashback dates in your mobile calendar, works calendar, home
calendar, the calendar on the kitchen wall, everywhere and anywhere. The
more the merrier.
5. Put the cheques in the bank when you get them.

I've mostly got additional contracts for the mobiles rather than extra
minutes/text. I've still got 1 contract left with 3 which has a few months
still to run, so will be hoping the N95 comes down in price and I'll be
keeping an eye on any good deals coming up.

just curious how many phones have you got?

I have also done most of what you've done with my deal with The Link and got
my first cheque in the post today without having to phone them. It took them
six weeks to process the cheque from receiving my claim.

Presently I've got 4.

Nokia N73 (Main Mobile)
Nokia 6233 (Night phone to call the wife)
Palm Treo 600 (I like to have an organiser)
Nokia 6030 (Backup)

Did have a SE W800i a few months ago, but sold it as the joystick was
starting to go. Did tell the person I sold it to, but think they were happy
to have a phone with a mp3 player in it.

No I got the Treo 600 from ebay for £127, but I did sell 2 old Nokia 6230's
and a buzzing Palm T2 last year to pay for it.

Surely it would be better to pay for your stamp at the same time as paying
for your envelope to be sent special delivery? You don't just pop it in a
letter box do you?
