Default N Gage Question

I have an original Nokia N Gage. Does anyone know how I can display my
own mobile number on screen. I have a pay-as-you-go which is out of
credit so I can't call another number.

Also what is the factory PIN number (4 digits)

If its on Vodafone you can get it from the network by keying
*#100# send

Put some credit on it then..!

: If its on Vodafone you can get it from the network by keying
: *#100# send

Only on Voda, no use on anything else.

: Don't know.

The PIN number is associated with the SIM card not the phone and will
therefore be dependent on the network, each sets a different default
(Orange is usually 1111 for example). Some phones, notably Nokias, also
have a security code associated with the handset, this will be in the
manual, but if you don't have it, you're stuffed unless someone here can
help.

Your number might be listed in the "My Numbers" list usually found
under 'Names' in the menu. Vodafone don't store the number here but if
its a Vodafone SIM then *#100# will give you the number instead as
mentioned above.

The PIN is stored on the SIM not the phone, so if you've used the SIM
in a different phone and changed the PIN, it will still be the number
you changed it to.
If you've not changed the PIN I think the defaults are:
Orange 1111
Vodafone 0000
O2 0000
T-Mobile 1210
Virgin 7890

If its the security code your after and not the PIN, most Nokia's are
preset to 12345.
