N73 (orange) Voice Mail Icon permanently ON

1. Checked new voicemail:
- No new messages

2. Switched phone OFF then ON:
- New voice message on Line 1
(Checked voicemail and no new message)

3. Phone displays icon "there is a new voicemail"
(Checked again and no new message)

5. Phone still displays icon for new voice mail message

Orange CS says that they have issue with Nokia software about this and
that issue will be resolved "soon" (that was 1.5 month before posting
this message)
I was told by CS in Orange Shop that this issue and other ones made
them to end purchase for N73 (check web site, it says: "out of stock")

If you have the same problem, please comment...

They've been pulled while all the stocks are updated to the newest
(less buggy) firmware, not withdrawn completely from sale at all. O
shops are still selling them through, and will continue to do so.

Have you tried updating the software at http://www.nokia.co.uk/softwareupdate ?

Also, this has been known to happen occassionally on Orange anyway...
have CS reset your voicemail and ruled out the symbol isn't stuck at
their end (usually removing and reapplying the answerphone product
would resolve it)?

ruled-out my warranty and Orange Care. Also, I have asked CS to reset
my voice mail, send update, but no luck.

I wouldn't be too worried about it, but if you are, find a Nokia Service
Centre.
