Default N73 Problem

I am pleased with my newly acquired N73 even more so now that I have
purchased Tomtom 6 as my satnav system.

However I am now getting a problem when trying to start Tomtom with a
message 'memory full. Close some applications and try again'

If I switch off the phone and power up again all is well. Is there any
way that I can close applications without having to switch off?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have a N73 handset, but assuming it's like the other Series 60
handsets, try this:

Hold down the menu key to get a list of the running applications - You can
close any of the open apps by pressing the "c" key

Best to get Smartphoneware's Best TaskMan, although the method Steve states
above looks like it works, it doesn't for some apps like Log, Contacts,
Gallery still stay open and use up valuable memory.
