Three months?!? Oh gosh I hate N82 owners now. =P I only got a three
day navigation trial with my N95.
The good thing about N-Series phones is that Nokia don't forget all
about firmware updates and adding value when newer models are released.
Having said that, some users are at their operator's mercy unless
they debrand their handsets...and of course they sometimes disable
features (like VOIP).
