Default On New Anytime 500 Vodafone contract - is data free?

I've just had my first bill from Vodafone, standard Anytime 500 with
250 txts per month, £35. When I look at the itemised calls, it shows
that Internet and WAP access all as included, e.g. they are listed
with a normal cost but the You pay column is 0.000 with a black tick
which the key states "included in price plan".

Earlier discussion with Vodafone CS was that I would be charged for
data at the usual horrendous rate.

Is this a screw up or do others have similar finding? I'm reluctant to
ask them in case it is a mistake...

i think that the data uses the text messages if there are any left. e.g. so
many texts = so many MB of data (not sure how many) so the data session may
have used 10 or so of your included texts.

is that clear??!

Maybe it's something like that. The volume of data/wap was tiny, 48kb
but if it is essentially included in my package I'll be more inclined
to use it. Thanks!

It used to

Vodafone are now going to start charging you more, they think their
customers are thick!

I have 400 min per month, Inc 1000 texts / 330mms / 50 mb of data £30 Sim
only.

I got told to go here to read this.

http://www.vodafone.co.uk/dataprices

Take not of the bit "Extra packs are changing too".

That means no inclusive data.

It also means I will be saying bye bye to Vodafone!

Geoff
