Default New style of phone charger

I got an N70 recently, the jack of the charger is much thinner than the
previous one. I've already broke the jack of the charger and now the jack
of the adaptor. The thin design seems to be much easier to break than the
old fatter one. Anyone else noticed this obvious way of increasing charger
sales?

I've broken 2 chargers now for my Nokia N73 with the thinner charger cable.,
it doesn't like the rollers on my swivel chair in the work and they have all
the power sockets under your desk. I've switched to using an old Nokia 6230
charger I had with the adaptor.

Gone through 3 of the new type chargers for a 6280. Always seem to end up
with a loose connection, even if treated with care.

And they are only guaranteed for 6 months!

Mine isn't broken yet, but it is bent, something which never happened
with the old ones.

I only got 4 recharges out of mine, the wire &
connector are ok, its the electronics that have
failed! I cut it open to check.

Seems I'm not alone. Is it worth asking the retailer to sort it out when
this happens? Perhaps if enough people claim replacement phone chargers
Nokia will revert back to the one that has more strength than a twig.
