Nokia 3410...... help!

I know this seems like a daft query, but my mother has a Nokia 3410 which
rings an alarm at Midday every day, even if the phone and the alarm are
switched off. By the way the alarm *is* set to 12am (i.e. midday) but is
definitely switched off.

Anyone else had this problem or is there some other kind of alarm on the
3410 which I haven't noticed?

I haven't got a 3410, but has it got a calendar application ? - there
might be a "recurring event" set up in there causing it...

Failing that, try deleting all existing alarms on it and see if it still
happens.
