Default Nokia 6233 Keypad light

I've had a Nokia 6233 on contract with Orange for about 6 months (not
very impressed but that's another matter) and tonight I noticed that the
keypad backlight doesn't work.
Please, someone tell me I'm not going mad and that it should have a
backlight...

If, as I suspect, it's gone faulty, then will Orange replace it ? Is it
possible to get an alternative phone ?

cheers

E

If it's faulty then it will get repaired. A backlight is a fairly easy
job to fix. If there's a Nokai service point near you you could probably
have it done while you wait.

It will not be possible for you to have a different phone.

1.8 km from me, so that's ok.

Oh well, I can wait 5 months (O say my contract up in August) for a new
one. It's not a complete crock, but too many annoyances for my liking.

Thanks for info

You sure its broken?

There's a light sensor on the top of the handset so that it only comes
on when it's actually dark. If you cover the sensor, it should come on
in a couple of seconds.

Just a thought

Chris
