Nokia 6233 / upgrade ideas?

Anyone got any comments on this phone.

I can now upgrade my phone (vodafone) and I would like one that I will get
free or cheaply that has latest features. etc. bearing in mind low monthly
spend. 6233 seems good but with orange discontinuing it and it not seeming
too popular looking at reviews is it worth going for this.

Was its "predecessor" the 6230i (?) a better phone in terms of reliability
and usability?

Any others that particularly stand out?
