Default Nokia 6300 USB cable

I have just bought this phone new and I don't know/can't see how to get
the usb cover away from the connection socket on the base of the phone.
It has the standard usb sign on it and I don't know if it slides..no,
or hinges away.... can't see that.
Anybody?

Thanks

It just pulls outward, there is a small gap along the edge to get a
fingernail underneath. Looks flimsy, but it practise, it's OK.

Thanks, I managed to prise the plastic cover away and connected a cable.
I was afraid of breaking something which is why I didn't want to force
anything before.

The cover pulls out in line with the length of the phone. It is made
of nylon and the bendy hinge part is the part nearest the top of the
phone.

I found it is easier to open it if you take the steel back off first.

Alternatively consider a bluetooth dongle. No moving parts.
