Nokia CA-53 USB canble to connect with 6070

Is it possible to use a Nokia CA-53 cable to connect to a (unlocked
Orange) Nokia 6070?
Using my wife's N70 cable but am having no joy in connecting with the
CA-53 cable to my 6070.
Installed latest PC Suite but no success in connection. Balloon pops up
saying, "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has
malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in
solving this problem, click this message."
XP Device Manager (USB Serial Bus Controllers) shows no faults with the
USB connection but just shows Unknown Device and says there is no driver
for it.
Any ideas?

According to the Support for PC Suite section on Nokia's website, you
need a CA-42 cable for the 6070.
