Default Nokia e61 radio application

Does anyone know if it is possible to download software to allow a
Nokia E61 to run radio software on symbian so that it is compatible
with a plug on radio receiver? (like the Nokia 6280)

If so, where can I get such software?

thanks

Craig

I have since found a Nokia AD-46 which looks like it might do the job
but all the descriptions of it are woefully inadequate as they don't
explain whether this can function as a radio with the E61. Does anyone
know?

The AD-46 isn't a radio itself, its just a headset lead with a
headphone socket on it.

Checking Nokia's website, the E61 spec (and E61i) does not list as
having an FM radio, so it looks like you're out of luck. I'd guess the
reason is that the E series is targetted at "business" types who they
perceive as not wanting/needing FM radio capability, where as N series
and other handsets do get the functionality as they're either "media"
handsets or general consumer targetted phones.

So, sadly, looks like you're out of luck, you may as well go to your
local eletrical retailer (or Argos), and pick up a small pocket FM
radio instead.

Looks like you need the Nokia HS-2R which is a plug-in hands-free which
has a FM radio built into it. It is meant for phones with a pop-port and
no built in radio, just like the E61. I may get one for my E61i.
