Default Nokia shop Regent St and is N82 any good???

Thinking of getting this on O2.

Have already tried XDA stellar (sent back as "too fiddly" and batt life not
too good) but loved google maps with built in GPS - esp sat view.

W890i vibrate was useless and keys little small (navigation ones)

So, now looking at N82 which seems to cover most bases (GPS Wi-Fi etc) as
the XDA did but in a candy bar form. Wondered how quick GPS was for a
"lock" etc. Some say that the software is much faster than previous N
series phones

Anyone know if the Nokia store in Regent st London has the display phones
"powered up" so u can actually try them out.

If N82 is crap then may just do a "simplicity" tariff

any sensible suggestions welcomed

The N82 is quite a big phone. More than I expected when I had a look
at it. The Regent St. shop has all the phones powered up and on
display. But it's a horrible shopping experience. The staff are all
over you the second you step foot inside. They might have calmed down
a bit now but the last time I went I walked out because they wouldn't
leave me alone.
