O2 GPRS down earlier today ?

Anybody experience problems using O2 GPRS down in the South West today
?

I tried logging onto various sites using my XDA Orbit, and for some
strange reason it just refused to connect to GPRS (O2 Mobile Web) ...
I kept getting the network login prompt pop-up ....

Anyway - I left it alone, went out to do some shopping. Came back
early evening and all was well again ... so not a problem with my XDA
.... so guessing the network ?

Despite having a strong 3G signal, I couldn't connect to check my emails
for most of the day.

I am in Bimringham though.

Was unable to establish a data connection with O2 in Central Scotland
using TomTom Go 520 yesterday lunchtime. Also unable to access web
sites directly from my N95. All back to normal for return journey in
the evening.

Had a similar issue on 3 yesterday, in Surrey.
